The field divider, or nose card, can be used to help balance the eyes if you have suppression / lazy eye. I want to add that the technique can be more complicated than I have described it, and this clip is only to show you how the field divider works. If you have a lazy eye and you give it more stimulation, you may find other problems emerging. For example, the ‘good’ eye might give signs of difficulty in coping with the situation, once it is no longer hogging the limelight, so to speak. You can get suppression in your good eye, your worse eye, alternating eyes, or both. It can change from moment to moment. You might even be turning your head sideways without realising it, which will affect everything.
