Improve Eyesight by SunningClosed eyelid sunning is a natural way to improve your eyesight. Sunlight helps warm and relax the eye muscles.
To practice sunning sit or lay down in a relaxing environment where the sun or a bright light can fall on your closed eyelids. Gently move your head from side to side so the light and warmth fall directly on one eye, then the other. Obviously, sunning is not physical exercise. But, this is one of the best eye exercises you can do. It very quickly can relax your eye muscles.
Of course, if you are actually sun bathing, you should limit your time in the sun so you do not get a sunburn. Usually about 10 minutes of sunning is adequate for the relaxing effect on your eyes. When you can't use the actual sun, you can sit in front of a 100 watt light and still get the relaxing light and warmth to soften your eye muscles. Here too, turn your head gently from side to side to give the full relaxing benefit to one eye then the other. After sunning, it is good practice to perform palming for a few minutes. This enhances the relaxation effect. You'll feel your eye muscles "soften" as they relax. This absence of muscle tension the goal.
